John Frinzi & John Patti perform Live at the Promenade on June 3, 2011.

As summer heats up, the Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs “Cools” things way down with the first in their summer series of Live at the Promenade performances.  Vocalist and guitarist John Frinzi and steel pan master John Patti perfectly blend the elements of beach, folk, pop, island and jazz in a performance that is sure to leave you refreshed by their breezy tropical style.

Frinzi, who tours theUnited Statesplaying over 200 dates each year is teaming up again with steel drum and guitarist John Patti for an encore to their very successful 2010 performance at the Promenade inBonitaSprings.  Frinzi and Patti delighted the audience last year with their light-hearted, fun performance that compliments their mellowKey Westsound.  The Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs is raising the “Limbo” bar on fun by challenging the audience to come dressed in island-theme clothing for a chance to win one of their prizes.

Families looking for a place to kick off the summer with their children and couples looking for a fresh and memorable date night will equally enjoy Frinzi’s original songs from his latest release, “Shoreline”.  Many of the Frinzi’s songs were co-written with Tom Corcoran, co-writer of the Jimmy Buffett classics, “Fins,” and “Cuban Crime of Passion.”  Frinzi’s charismatic star power has allowed him to share the stage with major performers like, Todd Snider, Randy Weeks and Keith Sykes who makes an appearance on his latest release.  The Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs helps make this performance a family event by offering half-price tickets for children.

Parrott Heads will be pleased to know that Frinzi will be joining John Patti at the Promenade fresh from his performances at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville inOrlando,Florida.

Those who join the Center for the Arts for the first time between May 1 and September 30, 2001 will receive a free 4-, 5-, or 6-week class to be used by December 31, 2011.  The Center for the Arts offers this promotion for first time members.  Call the Center for the Arts at 239-495-8989 for more information.
